Jess really helped me be more comfortable with the whole college application process. I really did not know where to start, and my parents wanted to help but did not exactly know where to start either. Jess helped me realize what I was looking for in a school, and even proposed to visit a school I did not even considering looking at...and that was the one I ended up going to and loved it! I also thought for the longest time I wanted to go into education but senior year of high school I was not so sure anymore. When my oldest daughter began her college search process I was unsure of how to assist her. Both my husband and I had nontraditional paths to achieving our college degrees and I was unfamiliar with the application process, financial aid, and simply how to evaluate and discuss with my daughter her options.
